Our Vans

We currently have a lovely bright red 64 plate VW T5 purchased in October 2019, shortly before the pandemic struck. Despite the various lockdowns when we first bought it we still managed to clock up thousands of miles in France, Italy, Outer Hebrides and many places around the UK.

In spring 2024 we headed off to Spain, Portugal and France and the plan in the autumn of 2024 is to explore Turkey, northern Greece and Albania.

It's a much more compact vehicle than our previous van but we are self contained and have solar panels fitted. All our 'gadgets' run off USB so we can charge them while we are driving along and we rarely bother hooking up to electric.

Back in 2013 we had a W Reg right hand drive CI Autoroller with a 1.9 Diesel Fiat engine.

  2. Hi Kat, I'm glad you like the blog. Our email address is not on the blog - we receive more than enough spam comments, last thing I would want is my inbox filled up with unsolicited emails I'm afraid. Can I ask why you want to get in touch? Maybe I can answer your comments via the blog. Kath

  3. Hi, Kath! Thanks a lot for getting back to me. You are right and I totally understand why you dont provide your email. I was just thinking whether you would consider as a content contribution to your blog. It would totally fit into the overall lifestyle (campervan related) that you present here on your blog and also I think it could serve as a useful advice to your readers. Please, let me know whether you would like to expand a small section of your blog this way and hopefully attract more readers with valuable information and advice.

Thanks a lot for your understanding, I could provide you with my email, e.g. via some social media platform such as Facebook and we could get in touch without making our email addresses public.

    Have a good day! :)
    Kat

  4. Hi Kat

This blog is currently 'parked' and isn't being updated as we are not travelling at the moment having sold our campervan a year ago. My 'readers' were family and friends who were interested in where we were and what we were doing - there are very few people reading it now. So thanks for your interest but it's probably not something I am interested in pursuing at the moment.

    Best wishes

    Kath
